Arabic And Islamic Curriculum

The Arabic classes use Iqra’ Arabic Reader, a series of workbooks and textbooks designed to teach Arabic for English speaking children. The classes focus on the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The books are written in Arabic with practical English guidelines including themes and lessons focusing on Islam and the Qur'an. They are colorful, child appealing and designed to make learning Arabic successful.

In Islamic Studies, the children will be learning Islam through the I Love Islam series as well as the We are Muslims books. With the use of these series of Islamic studies textbooks, Muslim students are gradually introduced to the essentials of their faith and bring to light historic and cultural aspects of Islam. The class is designed to emphasize the aspects of Islam depending on their grade level. Students are acquainted with the basic beliefs and teachings of Islam in a simple and engaging manner. The accompanying workbooks are designed to reinforce the material covered in the text while also providing practice in critical thinking skills.

Islamic Studies Covers :
  • Iman
  • Fiqh ul-Ibadat
  • Fiqh ul-mu'amalat
  • Qur'an
  • Hadeeth
